North Notts CAMRA Pub of the Year (POTY) Rules.
1. The POTY voting to be administered by a person chosen by North Notts CAMRA. The person has to be a North Notts CAMRA member, be able to check CAMRA membership and comply with GDPR.
2. Pubs being voted for must be in the North Notts CAMRA branch area.
3. Pubs must have been open for a minimum of 6 months before the voting closing date.
4. A person voting must be a North Notts CAMRA branch member, supply his/her name and membership number and each person can only vote once for that year. If a person votes for a pub that does not qualify the vote will not count and the person can vote for a different pub.
5. Voting.
Voting information will be sent out to North Notts CAMRA members via the Comms Tool email system for the POTY voting.
The voting information will include a voting link for members to click on to, follow the instructions and register their votes.
Votes can be sent to the POTY administrator in writing or by a system or systems stated by the administrator (eg online, by email, text).
Votes can be given in writing to the administrator or any North Notts CAMRA branch committee member.
Votes can be left in writing at a designated point or points decided by the administrator if it is decided it will assist the voting.
6. Members' identities on voting will be not be disclosed and the voting list will not be kept any longer than necessary.
7. The POTY will automatically qualify for Good Beer Guide entry (GBG rules applying).
8. POTY voting to close before the Good Beer Guide entries meeting and to be open for a minimum of 4 weeks if possible.
9. The POTY result to be checked and passed as correct and then announced at the GBG meeting or the next North Notts Branch or North Notts Committee meeting.
10. The POTY presentation date to be announced at the next North Notts CAMRA branch meeting or North Notts CAMRA committee meeting following the Good Beer Guide entries meeting and the presentation to be added to the Social Events calendar.
