The Grafton Brewery

The Grafton Brewing Company was first established by John Allcroft in 2007. The first brewing premises were behind the Packet Inn on Bescoby Street Retford and in May 2014 after outgrowing the Bescoby Street premises the brewery moved to new premises on the Claylands Industrial estate Woksop. The size of the plant also increased from a 5 barrel plant to a 15 barrel plant to keep up with demand and Richard Hale, after training under John, has taken over as head brewer. The Grafton Hotel in Worksop was the brewery tap and the Packet Inn Retford was also a Grafton pub, now the Malt House, a tapas house and small bar is the Brewery's outlet in Worksop.
