- The original Real Ale Train Trail - overnight (Huddersfield) via train
Saturday 18 – Sunday 19 July 2026
Huddersfield
I know overnight stays are unusual, but we wanted to put one in this year to see if they were popular or not.... and this one is quite special
We will travel to Huddersfield either by Train or Car (personal choice) and check into the Premier Inn (Aspley centre of town - onsite parking is available).
We will then do the original Real Ale Train Trail (details below), which involves an open train return to Stalybridge and working your way back with a pub at each train stop
This is where you will have two options: either complete the whole trail down to Batley (coming back to Huddersfield afterwards, but this will be late) or cut it short and instead spend some time visiting some of the amazing pubs around Huddersfield.
We could potentially finish off the perfect day and go for a Curry (there are plenty to choose from)
All in all, it should be a fun weekend away
