The way we select NN CAMRA POTY will change following the selection of an alternative option at the Branch AGM on 6 May 26.

The POTY for 2026 will be selected as follows:

North Notts CAMRA members are able to vote each year in both Town Pub of the Year and a Village Pub of the Year categories. The top 3 town pubs and the top 3 village pubs will then be assessed against the National POTY Guidlelines. Which as well as the quality of the Real Ale takes other things into account such as service & welcome; style, décor and atmosphere; cleanliness and community focus.

The assessment will be conducted by a judging panel. The pub with the highest score in village category will be awarded Village POTY, likewise the highest score in the town category will be awarded Town POTY. The pub with the highest score will also be the Branch Pub of the Year.
