The city of York is easily accessible from North Nottinghamshire, just over an hour by car or 40 minutes on a direct train from Retford and by good fortune York is the chosen destination for North Notts CAMRA Christmas Jumpers Social 2023.

7		Blue Bell, 53 Fossgate, YO19TF	This beautifully small Edwardian pub, which has had only 4 landlords in 120 years, has a nationally important Grade II historic interior (1903) that remains unaltered in virtually all details. 15		Snickleway Inn, 47 Goodramgate, YO17LS	A very old historic pub, reputed to be the most haunted in York. During the siege of York in 1644 it was used as the Royalist magazine. Rooster’s Yankee, Theakston’s Best Bitter + 4 changing beers.

17		House of the Trembling Madness (Lendal), 14 Lendal, YO18AA	Conversion of a historic building gaining it joint winner in the York Restoration Design awards 2018. The pub is over 5 floors. Ground floor bar with 11 keg and 3 changing casks. Card payment only.
18		Maltings, Tanners Moat, YO16HU	A pub for grown-ups, a lot of peoples favourite pub in York. Black Sheep Best Bitter, York Guzzler + 5 changing beers.
19		York Tap, Railway Station, Station Road, YO241AB	Conversion of the Victorian tea rooms on York station which opened as a pub in 2010. The ornate ceiling, Art Deco stained glass windows, terrazzo floors and stained glass ceiling domes create an award winning backdrop to the central bar with 20 hand pumps.
20		Tank And Paddle, Merchant Exchange, 1 Bridge St, YO16DD	Wide range of keg beers and 4 changing casks.
21		Falcon, 94 Micklegate, YO16JX	A modern pub in a Grade II listed Victorian building. Re-opened November 2022 and now run by Turning Point brewery Knaresborough. 3 changing casks and 8 keg.
22		Ackhorne, 9 St Martins Lane, YO16LN	Hidden off the beaten track along a narrow cobbled lane off Micklegate. Ainsty Cool Citra, Half Moon Ackhorne Bitter, Rudgate Jorvik Blonde, Rudgate Ruby Mild + 2 changing beers.
23		Golden Ball, 2 Cromwell Road YO16DU	A Grade II listed community pub (run by a cooperative), and having a nationally important historic pub interior. Acorn Barnsley Bitter, Ainsty Assassin, Timothy Taylor Golden Best + 3 changing beers. Listed on CAMRA's pub heritage national inventory.

The majority are travelling by coach, which will park at St George's Field car and bus park, Tower Street, which is south of the city centre, next to the river, but a few are travelling by train. Everyone doing the pub route meet at the Slip Inn which is the first pub on the pub route due to its proximity to the bus park. If the bus is early the Angel On The Green will be open.
